Hi..

Today I thought after having a play with some new watercolour pencils 

I would try my luck at winning some of these lovely Prima watercolours 

So I've joined in on the challenge over at scrapbook.com

Hi there...

Last night I was playing making flowers with the 

Prima marketing tales of you and me collection paper and just browsing blogs I seen the sketch on the stuck sketches sketch and thought I would join in

I started by adding a little bit of paint then used a heart stencil I designed on my cameo

Then added some impasto texture paste ,glitter and a bit of mist and mixed it together and applied it to my background 

Next following along with the sketch I created layers for my photo and added lots of little flowers with pearls in the middle along with the flowers I made frome the patterned paper

I also added some paper string And die cut Doiles ,leaves and A chipboard title

Today I wanted to give the Prima marketing April sketch a go so

For my layout I turned it on its side I think it worked better for me with 2 photos 

I mixed light pink paint with some impasto texture paste and used a stencil that though would complement the patterned paper 

I also flicked a few colours to help with the flow of colour

I got to fussing cutting all those yummy flowers out

Adding a few layer behind my photos and more fussing cut flowers along with a vellum die cut doily for that laced touch I made a tag out of a bit of off cut patterned paper and tied a bit of twine in a bow

I also added some flowers and a few fussy cut butterflies they are absolutely lovely 

I have to say I'm really enjoying playing with this lovely patterned paper I love the shabby chic vintage style I can create with it .. I really want to play with other collections and can't wait to get them

Hi hi... Peeps 

Today I thought I would challenge myself to a bit of a messy gesso background using mists on my background along with some light pink impasto hearts

For the more then words challenge for this month

So I started off with some Kaisercraft papers from my stash

I layered my background patterned paper taking a punch and punching out a strip at the top and bottom of my white background then I machine stitched around the edges 

And added some gesso then dried it 

Misted it with water then added droplets of Kaiser mists green,blue and pink

Then after it was dry I used a heart stencil and used a bit of impasto and pink mist

Then added my paper layers and photo.

Happy Easter to everyone!!

Today I woke up early made a coffee and sat down at my pc 

And i was going through my templates for making fun stuff I seen the bunny card template from heidi swapp and as its Easter and more then words are having their mini challenge 

What better way to start the day off yay...

So I decided it needed layers on the bunny so yep you guessed it I used my cameo

And made a few layers

So I started off with just plain white cardstock 

and cut out the bunny card template with my cameo 

Then I offset the template card and cut a layer for inside my card

Using a stencil added texture paste after drying added some lace ,flowers,leaves,cotton and my sentiment on a couture creations die cut

Then I started on the front cover glueing the 2 bunny layers together and machine stitching them

Adding a little bit of gesso around the edges

Then I added a flower,cotton,twine bow and leaves with a bit of glitter glue 

I embossed the wood word happy with white embossing powder 

Then a few pearls

Sharing another tag I created today playing with mixed media goodness 

I wanted to create a tag using embossing powder 

As a resist with the mists

I think I really like how this technique turned out with the embossing popping out through the misting

 I also used some of my cut file leaves ..You can find the cut file in my Etsy shop

I've been playing again with some more paper ..

Joined in on the more then words mini challenge 

cut a tag from white cardstock 

Matt pattern paper on tag leaving a border around the edge 

Then using a embossing folder to emboss the pattern paper 

Die cut a doily and a smaller circle add to center of tag

Add some embellishments and flowers and word sticker and a few sequins 

I watched tv shows while I created today 

Im liking the shannara chronicles and lucifer
