So Friday night I decided to get a little messy with some watercolour from Prima well they are the art alchemy liquid acrylic paints and they work so well with water so I just used them as a watercolour  and the colours matched this pattern paper from shimelle sparkle city fresh flowers , I’m loving the bright colours of the collections ... I haven’t got all the colours of the paint but I hope Anna decides to add more colours to her collection as they are amazing....

Happy Wednesday!! Today I thought I would just chill out in my scrap studio and create while it wet and cold outside....using up more of that beautiful horizon collection from Paige Evans and cut files 

So my idea for this layout was to use that magenta colour as the border but I didn’t want to use all of the paper up just on a background of my white cardstock so using my cameo 3 and a heart background I centred it and trimmed off some so I could back the border and I found some cardstock of the same colour and added it behind the white cardstock and machine stitched them all together 

It was a fun and simple process and I love how it turned out

Today I’m sharing a layout I created for a fun challenge over at Anna’s craft cupboard group on Facebook 

The challenge was to use washi tape... so I decided I would use it like patterned paper 

Using a heart cut file from the silhouette design store I cut out on white cardstock then cut out a second heart shape to cover the back of the hearts and then I covered the heart with washi from the poetic Rose collection 

Then adhered it to the back of the layout and machine stitched around the heart shape to add a stitched heart

Then I used another cutfile Design from the silhouette design store from Paige Evans cutting it into 3 pieces and layering it on to of each other and backing it with pink cardstock and adding a crepe paper ruffle

Happy Friday!! Today I’m sharing a layout created using the new stencil brushes and jumbo sponge daubers 

They are both great for applying mediums to cards and scrapbook layouts or just fun craft projects 

The big stencil brushes are great for just using as a big paint brush, specially with watercolor as the brush can hold a lot of water and the jumbo sponge dauber are great as you have more of a handle to hold onto while blending of just added colour to a stencil..

Anyway here is the layout I created with these products and it was a fun process

Hey,

today sharing my week 22 of 52 faves 

I’m using the crate paper flourish collection to decorate my TN spread
I also like to use up prima flowers I’ve pulled apart that are on the flatter side for my TN spreads as it’s less bulky.... and it’s easy to add a little center bit to the middle just by adding some bling

So the kids went back to school today term 1 done.... so I decided while waiting for washing to be done I decided on doing another challenge over at paper issues.using the beautiful collection from crate paper flourish .... I chose to do get messy I think it’s called that well anyway using mixed media on a project...I know mine looks clean not messy but I did add texture...I used ink ,paint and a stencil

I probably should have marked it out so more of the stenciled dots showed but it happens!
