Hi there crafty friends,
I’m sharing another card made for the World card making day for scrapbook.com who are celebrating till the 5th with sales and a free gift to add to your shopping cart .. and a fabulous freebie cut file you can download!!

I started with white cardstock and cut this pocket card out that comes in the floral Sampler Cut file zip
Then using the pretty coloured pattern papers from the doodlebug design petite prints I backed each part of the cut file. Then next I chose some embroidery cotton that was close to the same colours as the pattern papers and added  pin holes all around each cut out and hand stitched

Then I created card base that I made with blue cardstock and matted with pink paper from the doodlebug design petite prints then layered the stitched cut out on the top of the pink pattern paper
Then next using a stitched nesting dies I layered them on white cardstock to cut a centre ring to cut out a window for my shaker pocket . I die cut 4 little rings to stack on top of each other

The first ring I adhered to a piece of clear plastic and trimmed around the edges. then I layered the other 3 together and added them on the bottom die cut circle cut from pink pattern paper from the petite prints to create the bottom of my shaker pocket then I added a sticker from the truly grateful cardstock sticker sheet in the centre of the pink pattern paper then using the doodlebug glitter and truly grateful sequins I add a few in the centre then I adhered the lid with the clear plastic down.
Then I added a few more stickers and some pearls to finish off the card.

So pop on over to scrapbook.com and check it out

Hi there,
Today I’m sharing a card I created with the new stamps from scrapbook.com
The clear acrylic stamp set I’ve used Elegant Christmas

I started with pistachio cardstock for my card base
Next using patterned papers from the milk and cookies 6x6 paper pad
By trimming them down and layering them on top of each other leaving a border

Next I cut another strip of patterned paper to go in the center of the card
Then I cut a another strip of white cardstock just a bit smaller in height to leave a border on 2 sides of the cardstock strip.

Then I cut a strip of vellum to fit over the top of the strips of the cardstock and patterned paper
Then I stamped the clear acrylic stamps happy holidays on the vellum with the new medium acrylic block and versafine ink and applied white embossing powder over it and heat set it.
Then layering them together I put little holes in 4 corners of the stripes and added mini brads
Added a mini white doily in the center of the card then adhered the strip with my sentiment across the middle of the doily.

Check out scrapbook.com for more of these fabulous stamps products

Hi there,
Tonight I’m sharing a layout for a paper issues challenge, so seeing as it is the month of love with Valentine’s Day just around the corner
Their are lots of fabulous changes to join in with so with that in mind

I wanted to used red ,mint and pink as my colour palette
and the So Punny Collection from Doodlebug is just perfect.
I went with a totally simple clean design layering strips at the top of my page and adding a few ephemera bits

Then I using one of the cut aparts ...(postcard) to matt my photo on
And layering more of the lovely little xo paper and the little letters and envelopes paper behind my matted photo
I used a chit chat ephemera bit for my title and a cute little bear sticker glued on a paper clip at the top of my photo
At the bottom of my photo 8 fussy cut a heart from another bit of patterned paper and added another little heart beside it

And I couldn’t resist making a little envelope to add a little card and bear inside and another beside it with a envelope
And because I love fringes I add one to a paper layer

Hi
Happy February... I cannot believe that a month has passed already just crazy...
So here are my last 52 faves for January
Week 3
My daughter got new shoes for school, and yep we had to order them in so I guess they are a popular shoe
In the wide bay but she was super excited to get them.

I’ve used some leftovers from a layout using the so Punny Collection and a few stickers
The alphas are from Doodlebug and American crafts just some I had leftover from a kit

Week 4
Yep it’s my cat kush on his favourite box in the house we never move it as being blind tends to suck if you can’t find your favorite place in the house , so here he is on his back with one leg in the air trying to cool down on a day we had high temperatures... I do give him a shave in summer because he is so fluffy

I used some patterned papers from everyday paper pad Jen Hadfield

Thanks for checking it out
Xx

Hi there, happy scrappy Saturday !!
Today I'm sharing my take on this months sketch challenge over at shop and crop
Check out this fabulous fun collection in the shop and crop store
Simple Stories Carpe Diem collection

So following along with the sketch I ended up not adding any mixed media I wanted to keep it clean

I thought the pencils where perfect for this sketch and my photo on my layout that I chose
I layered my white cardstock over the top of the circle patterned paper

I started with fussy cutting out all the pencils and layering them as if they where plonked on a desk
Then i added 4x6 cards that I cut out and layered a pocket and doily from doodlebug design

Then I used the stickers sheet and added phrase stickers and a few hearts with the pencils

I fussy cut some flowers from the floral patterned paper added them in the corners of my photo

Then I added my title using the alpha stickers

And while I was cutting out the pencils for my layout I thought the cute typewriter would make a cute little card
For someone

I hope you have enjoyed my sketch for this month

Hi there,
Today I'm sharing a layout using circles as a main focal point on the layout using
Pops of mint, pink and grey.. and a wood grain background

My girls first day back at school for the year

I thought it would be totally cute to add this bucket list cut out at the top left hand corner along with a strip of specialty vellum and some patterned paper with a little heart sticker

I cut the puffy tag sticker in half and tucked both halfs at top and bottom of my layout
And adding a doily behind the photo to make the mint colour stand out a bit more behind the photo
A fun paper clip from doodlebug and a puffy sticker (sisters)

I used 2 different alphas for my title
The black alphas are from doodlebug and the mint and gold from pink fresh studio

I also used puffy stickers around the layout to add pops of colour and texture

Thanks for stopping by my blog today
Happy crafting..xx
