Neat and Crafty

So I decided on having a play on the weekend with a few leftover bits of pattern paper from the Amy Tangerine shine on collection. I thought I should just share this layout on my blog

It was a simple layout design I wanted to incorporate this fabulous cut file that I found on the silhouette design store using it off to one side of the layout, I absolutely love the pastel colours in this collection so pretty

Hi there,
Today I’m sharing a layout I created using the fabulous shine on collection from Amy tangerine

I so love the blue, pink and yellow with a touch of black I think it makes it pop and of cause totally love the stickers with the gold foil they are just beautiful. So I decided I would do a layout of our lovely little Luna kitty sleeping in her favourite spot on our bed

My idea for this layout was to have the hot air ballon in the center of the layout I was going to ad stitching but I kinda liked the way it was working out
So I started with white cardstock and trimmed it down to add a border by backing it on patterned paper then matted my photo on the same patterned paper.
Then using my cameo I cut out the hot air balloon and backed it with patterned papers from the shine collection using the same colours that where in the border then then using foam to pop it off the page

you can get it here

Then I added my title using the gold thickers (life is beautiful )
And fussy cut some flowers from one of the other patterned papers and placed them around the layout until I liked the way they looked

Then using the stickers I add some around my photo and on the hot air balloon
And of cause I had to make a little heart paper clip to add to my photo and one of those cute little puffy hearts to the bottom right hand corner of the photo

Then I thought I needed something in the basket so I add all the little bunny stickers to a bit of cardstock and cut around them and added them to the basket as if they were having a ride in the balloon

So here are the product used so pop on over to scrapbook.com and check out this collection it’s absolutely beautiful...

Hi there,
Today I decided to have a bit of a scrap after doing some house work
I felt like playing with lots of colour I pulled out some Amy tangerine finders keepers collection
And some prima black gesso...

Using a paint brush and the black gesso I added strokes across the white cardstock
At top and bottom then after letting the gesso dry I then use on of the prima watercolor pencils
To add droplets across the brushed gesso strokes

Next I started choosing my papers to layer over the top of the strokes and a cutfile floral ampersand
Having the cutfile cut in white cardstock will pop on the page with the black gesso behind

Then lastly I added lots of die cuts from the ephemera pack and a few of the enamel heart stickers
Around my clusters of patterned papers

Hi there,
Today I'm sharing a layout using circles as a main focal point on the layout using
Pops of mint, pink and grey.. and a wood grain background

My girls first day back at school for the year

I thought it would be totally cute to add this bucket list cut out at the top left hand corner along with a strip of specialty vellum and some patterned paper with a little heart sticker

I cut the puffy tag sticker in half and tucked both halfs at top and bottom of my layout
And adding a doily behind the photo to make the mint colour stand out a bit more behind the photo
A fun paper clip from doodlebug and a puffy sticker (sisters)

I used 2 different alphas for my title
The black alphas are from doodlebug and the mint and gold from pink fresh studio

I also used puffy stickers around the layout to add pops of colour and texture

Thanks for stopping by my blog today
Happy crafting..xx

Hey there,
Today I'm sharing a layout of my hubby,I created for jot magazine challenge
I don't normally get that many photos of him cause he always complaining about not being able to smile properly lol I always laugh when he says that...

I went stash hunting and found some Amy tangerine patterned papers to go with the mood board
I wasn't sure what design I was going to use I started with creating a heart doily
And backed it with a bright pink

So here is a freebie cut file I used for my title on my layout

Download here

I cut strips of patterned paper and added them to the left hand side
And adding some doodlebug striped washi down the edge
Then I added a big strip of patterned paper to stop at the middle
Then centred the doily in the middle adding my Matted photo and embellishments
I finally finished it off with a few flicks of black mist and some doodlebug sprinkles

Thanks for checking out my layout

Xx

Hi there,
Today I'm sharing a layout that I created using the colour challenge at Anna's craft cupboard for this month
I started with the colours of the colour palette and my new cut file cut in white cardstock

I layered the navy floral paper that I cut the middle out of
on top of the bright pink and added my cut file cut on top

Then once I liked the look I backed the cut file with navy and aqua

get it from my shop here

Then I added the little heart stickers and my gold thickers

Added a foiled bit of card behind my photo and a bit of
Patterned paper

And a zebra diecut and a little heart sticker
