Neat and Crafty

Hi there,
Today I wanted to share a stash busting layout I created using up some old pattern papers from Bella blvd
I found then while I was looking though my draws for some stickers and decided I really needed to fussy cut those flowers out. And I really like the bright colours with the different colours in the centres of the flowers

I had a couple of borders cut out and thought they would look great layered on top of each other
With the pink and black...I think it adds a great contrast of colour
I fussy cut all the flowers out and layered them all up one side of the layout add my matted photo just under the edge of them out of the same pattern paper I cut little leaf shaped to go around the flowers to add som green

I added a few other stickers to my photo before adding my title to finish of my layout
Along with a little handmade tags tucked in the side of the photo
Totally simple layout but I really enjoyed the process of it...

Thanks for stopping by my blog

Sunday I decided to watch Netflix while doing washing and a bit of scrapping
With the very lovely you are loved collection by Bella Blvd
I created a pretty card to start with using some left overs I had from making a layout a while ago
So I started with a blank white card and layered a few patterned papers in different sizes on top of each other
Then I used one of the ephemera mini cards and added some dimension to the back and tucking a mini Doodlebug doily behind and a few strips of patterned paper that I cut triangles out of one end before sticking it down
Then lastly adding some flowers from the patterned paper and a die cut from the ephemera pack
And flicking white gesso across the card

With this layout I started with the 2 stripes of patterned paper down the left hand side of the layout
And using some leftover bits I had already cut out from another layout and a negative from a heats die I thought it would go great as a layer behind my photo, after adding my photo I needed a title but I didn’t have enough letters to do lovely kitty so I decided to cut out the negative of the alphas on the sticker sheet to get my title

I backed the stickers on white cardstock and fussy cut around them before adding double sided foam tape to the back and adding them to my layout then I added some flowers from the ephemera pack
Then on the right hand corners I added a strip of patterned paper and a few stickers to finish it off

Hi there,
Happy Friday I enjoyed the afternoon by watching Netflix and scraping
Something that seems to be my thing lately so I had these 2 photos of my daughter Kara
She’s growing up so fast and I feel like the months going so fast it’s October already that means only 2 months left of year 11 I can’t believe it’s went so fast

I matted my cardstock on patterned paper and machine stitched around the border
With a grid design in mind I wanted to add a few squares as I’m using 3x4 photos
And wanted the design to fit in a square

I die cut 2 squares to go opposite sides of the photos and and added a few fussy cut flowers and a arrow I cut out using the leftover frame from the arrow sticker

I used the same colours of patterned papers behind both photos
Creating that duplicated look

I cut one of the squares using a leftover scrap of patterned paper that I cut a circle out of
I added part of my title in the middle

Hi there,
So today I'm sharing a layout I created just playing with pretty patterned papers
Absolutely adore this you are loved collection from Bella blvd
My idea behind the layout was to have the hearts like they where a mobile hanging down

I started off with layering my cardstock on top of the heart patterned paper
Then adding a few bits of of the black and white script patterned paper
On 2 corners of my layout

and a few strips of washi tape in the corners
Machine stitching around the boarder and down the middle of die cut hearts
Then I added little fussy cut flowers to some of the hearts

I used the die cuts for my title

I layered a few patterned papers behind my photo and some fussy cut flowers

And here is another close up of the stitched hearts

Hi there,
So today I thought I would have a play with some more Bella blvd you are loved collection
And join in on the kraft plus challenge
So the challenge is to use a shaped photo so I decided to do circles using circle stitched nesting dies

I started with my kraft cardstock and cut it down and matted it on some patterned paper
Then I die cut a few circle die cut patterned papers and added them across the kraft cardstock

Then I die cut out my photo and layered it on top of the middle top circle
Then I started adding stickers and ephemera to my circles

I used a black sharpie and added some plus signs at top and bottom of my layout

Hi..
This week at sassy I've created cards
using some of the patterned paper from Bella blvd just add colour
The first card I created I was thinking about our moodboard for this month

I absolutely loved this heart paper
I backed it on some red cardstock and
I got out my fiskars lace border punch and punched each top and bottom

I fussy cut some cute flowers from another bit of patterned paper from Bella blvd collection
I was thinking a cluster of 3 so I added a little heart chipboard

And using the heidi swapp die cut word lovely as my sentiment

Just has to add some chipboard to the bottom of the card

And for my second card I added the we are memory keepers vellum over my whole white card

And machine stitched the seem so it really could be a mini book card
I die cut a Polaroid frame from one of the just add colour patterned papers and added some

chipboard and stickers from the just add colour sticker sheet
