I’m sure she was giving me a look of (really woman you’re taking another photo of me !!) lol...
I started off by add some mixed media to my patterned paper background
Then I trimmed it down and backed it on another patterned paper to add a coloured boarder
Then using my cameo I cut out a doily cut file using my cameo with pattern paper
I backed doily with glassine paper then using my cameo I cut another bit from the wood grain paper to go behind the glassine paper just like using vellum
Then I adhered the cut file down in the centre of the background
And matted my photo and added ephemera and a tag to my photo along with a paper clip
Next I used a title cut file hello beautiful and backed it with pink patterned paper and adhered it to my layout beside my photo
Then I fussy cut some flowers and add them around the background and photo
And a butterfly from the ephemera pack then using the leftover cuts from the doily cut file I add little hearts to 2 corners of my layout then I added a sticker from the sticker sheet
I’m sharing a layout today created for kitaholic kits I’m using products from both November main and embellishment kit instead of white cardstock I’ve chosen a mint colour I think it blends well with the orange, craft and pink. The cut file is from the silhouette design store BOUQUET 297896
I used a stencil and modeling paste on the background to add a little extra texture and colour. I also added some Washi tape to the top and bottom of my layout to bring more mint colour in..
Have you checked out the newest kits from Kitaholic kits yet ... they are full of fabulous products this month and have some really beautiful colours, this month I’m working with the November main kit and the embellishment kit ..I’ve also done a unboxing video so you can check out the products close up..
Pop on over to Kitaholic kits and check them out !!
Over the Christmas break I started my December daily album at the start of December
But I only got to do a few pages in the album as I was creating for creativation (CHA) but that’s ok as I can finish the rest later .I made the album with thick A3 cardstock and used my minds eye ,Kaisercraft and Prima paper to cover it and decorate .
Today I'm sharing a layout I created just having a play with some primamarketing St. tropez and free spirit
My favorite thing todo is to fussy cut flowers and add them around my photo and background
I've been loving using black gesso and a paint brush lately for my background using paint strokes as a feature on the background really makes the patterned paper pop
Then I added a stencil tubaroses with some light pink textured paste
Across the paint strokes to add more dimension and colour
Then I started to add all the fussy cut flowers at the top and bottom of my layout
I added my photo in the center and using some patterned paper for some layers behind my photo
And tucking some of the fussy cut flowers around the photo
And I added some die cut doilies around the photo tucked just under the layers
I also added some pink flowers from the rose quartz collection because I only had 3 flowers left over
I separated the bottom petals and added a bit of bling in one and tucked it under the top right corner of my photo
I added chipboard for my title and a little bow in the top left hand corner of the photo
I found a butterfly stamp I had and stamped it 3 times and covered it in clear embossing powder and heat embossed it
And added it in 3 places on my layout
