Neat and Crafty: Susan K Weckesser DT

hi..

Wow I can't be leave this is my last post for SKW it has been an amazing 6 months and the design team have been so lovely to work with..

I started off with white cardstock

I used a dot stencil and some impasto with a light touch of pink watercolour in the mix and used it randomly over my white cardstock then flicked green,pink and yellow mist

Then I used a stencil from ScrapFX with modelling paste in 2 places on my background

Then after putting embelishments on the top of my page I used the A Little Grunge Love stamp mini heart stamp and stamped it a few times on my background

Here is my finished layout

this month at My Sweet Earth our theme is spring so ive made some spring cards

my first thought was butterflys and flowers so i had this lovely paper from studio calico lemon lush

and a big light purple prima flower that i pulled apart and then i stamped A Little Grunge Love heart stamp on a bit of whit card stock with pink ink and used a pop dot to pop it up and added a bit of glitter ribbon from may arts

and here is my second card i used the Le Mason house stamp

i stamped it on 2 bits of patterned paper and fussy cut the house apart the roof,flowers and door and used a craft knife on the windows

and i added a few sequins and a flower

hi..

this was a fun card to make playing with ink and watercolours

i wanted to keep it simple but wanted to use a few techniques

i did some fun machine stitching and used some glitter for sand and sequins for shells

and here is a little tutorial on how i created the clouds

Hi...

It's mixed media month at mysweetearth blog

I've created this layout with stamping and using texture paste

It's my fluffy boys birthday this month so on each birthday he gets a treat we buy him a can of tuna

Not that he don't get treats all the time totally spoilt this cat

Lol no I'm not one of those crazy cat lady's !!

Its another way to use up them small scraps of patterned paper

Eve and our cat loona are buddy's as she follows her around the yard

to where ever eve is playing on the look out for them nasty snakes
