Its a boy Exploding box | Kaisercraft DT

Hi there,

This week on the kaisercraft blog we are creating baby shower ideas using

The new collection from kaisercraft

The lid was created with another piece of white cardstock to fit over the box

once folded up with a inch border around the edge , then decorated with lace flowers , collectables ,die cut doily and twine

I started with some white cardstock scoring into 9 squares and then cutting each square from each corner

And then covering the outside squares with patterned paper and the middle square with a different color patterned paper

Then in the center I made a cake from strips of cardstock and die cut circles

Adding a die cut doily as the base and then decorating it with patterned paper and crape paper and flowers and leaves

On top of. The cake I added a die cut it's a boy with blue cardstock

I used a embossing folder to make the embossed hearts and cut them out and added patterned paper behind them

Then I added a few embellishments
