Neat and Crafty

Hi there,
Today I'm sharing a a few layouts my first layout is about my scrap space
Nothing better than a clean desk ready to scrap on..

I started with white cardstock, then fussy cut those big arrow lines out as they were a bit big to cut out with my paper trimmer . Then using my sewing machine I add some machine stitching along the edges
Then next I add some of that lovely plus sign patterned paper behind my photo and some to the left hand side of my layout

I like to cluster my embellishments around my photo and sometimes in one corner to give extra dimension and texture to the layout

I add a cure paper clip on the left of my photo and underneath that I put a little quote
Where the magic happens ,I've tucked tags and little bits in behind to give it dimension and colour
And then I've added my title

For my second layout
It's my take on this months challenge
I chose stamping, embossing powder, cardstock

I started by being inspired by the collection and drawing a few flowers and a swan
That I turned into a fut files
I backed my flowers on the light purple cardstock and the leaves on the light green and adding rhinestones and chipboard to the centres of the flowers

I pop some of the flowers up on double sided foam tape and backed the swan on the dark purple cardstock
And did the same for the swans wing and popped it up to give it that 3D look

Then I matted my photo on some pretty flower patterned paper and tucked it under the swan and flowers
Then using some vellum I stamped and used colour blast bling gold embossing powder and embossed it and add it underneath the top left hand corner of my photo layers

Then I added a bow paper clip to the top and chipboard
And here are some close ups of my flowers and swan

Hi
Today I'm sharing a layout using some of the papers and ephemera from the June crop kit
As I don't have boys, and as you can see I found this photo of my girls that I took ages ago they where on holidays and we brought them a mask making kit from the 2 dollar shop after they had made their masks they wanted a photo ...

I started the layout with white cardstock and then cutting 2 strips of patterned paper for the top and bottom of my layout using that bold pattern

I used the ephemera around the photo to give it more of a layered look

And I used some of the 3x4 cut a part pattern paper for the bubble design behind my title
That's from the ephemera pack I added double sided foam tape to the back to pop it up

I fussy cut the boom! From one of the 3x4 cut aparts and popped it up on double sided foam tape

hi..
at Sassy last week i created a
fun idea for creating Chrissy gift tags for Christmas
I started by cutting a A4 bit of white cardstock
up into mini tags and sniping off the corners

Next I placed them on a bit of plastic and misted them with water

Then I flicked the tags with Distress Stain Spray Mowed Lawns

Then sprayed it with a bit more water and then heat dried

Then I punched little circles and punched a hole for the twine

Using the sticker sheet I added a sticker to each tag with a bit of sewing cotton

Using the American craft roller stamp and added a stamped word

And to finish the tag off I added some twine

Here are some more I created using more stickers on the sticker sheet

I hope you get inspired to create your own gift tags

Hi
Over at sassy to I'm sharing
some fun easy cards you can make using patterned paper
And stickers and a little bit of twine

I started off by covering my card with Christmas Cheer Cozy Quilt Paper
Leaving a border around the edge and I repeated the same with the Christmas Cheer Christmas Ornaments Paper leaving a part unglued to wrap some twine around a few times and added a little twine bow then I glued it down and added the cute little deer and the merry Christmas banner sticker

With this card I used the Ornaments Paper cutting it so I had a border and then machine stitching a border then I added a tree sticker and a little happy holly days banner sentiment a little cut cardstock heart with cotton thread and machine stitched the little red bow to the heart

Hi..
Last week on the sassy blog I created a fun decoration you can hang on your wall for this Christmas

I started with a 12x12 bit of patterned paper I cut 2 4x12 inch strips then divided it at 2 inches
So I had 9 bits of patterned paper

Then I cut 2 strips of patterned paper at half an inch
Then at 2 inches

To add the tabs to the top of my tags

Then I cut all of the corners of one end of my tags
and punched the Botton with a border punch

Next I cut 9  2 1/2inch scalloped circles of patterned paper with my silhouette cameo

I added some textured paste around the edges

Using some White cardstock I cut 9 hearts at 2 inch

And added cotton and machine stitched the sticker letters to the hearts

Then I was ready to put the tags altogether
and add some bobunny glitter paste and a bit of bakers twine to hang

And here is my finished tag banner ready to hang on the wall
